Alesia ‘The Diva’ Schumann, 28, boasts a record of 13 wins and three losses, with 11 of her victories coming by way of knockout. The former German champion won the world title by knocking Anastasia Orlova out last year.

“Chloé is the best challenger I can face to defend the title and I won’t wait until she’s my mandatory to take the bull by the horns, says Schumann. She deserves this title shot, and my victory will prove that I’m a strong champion.”

Chloé ‘Oiseau de malheur’ Potvin, 27, has a record made of 22 wins, 18 KOs, five losses and two draws. She has maintained her status as the number one contender in the division while dealing with a right hand injury.

“It’s my time to shine, she says. I’m thankful that Alesia is granting me this title shot so I can finally get the belt I’ve worked for since I turned pro at 17 years of age. It will be my crowning moment.”

Seats at the arena will cost €125 and VIP tables €500, sold exclusively online and redeemable through the Final Bell mobile app.

  1. Alesia,
The repeat button has been hit yet again!!! Another marquee bout about to commence, due all to your work Alesia!!

Alesia Schumann is going to be defending her title, and as a testament to her fighting character, she chooses to fight a formidable boxer in Chloe Potvin who can seriously punish her and put her to the test.

These two knockout (Attractive!!) boxers are going to be hammering each other in the ring come fight time with precision and serious force!! I am, as always, looking forward to it!!

  2. Here we go, the title fight we’ve all been waiting for! Chloe has worked her life to get to this point, however I think it won’t be enough for her. I think Alesia will get her first successful title defense and show why she wants to keep the title even more than how much Chloe wants it. Of course, this will depend on if Chloe does not let an injury happen again before the fight this time.

    • I think that a few people here are underestimating the ability of someone who scored 22 wins, with 18 of them being knockouts.

  3. While some new champions take a ‘lesser’ opponent in their first title defence (usually in their hometown as a bit of a money spinner) Alesia says ‘naw give me the #1 ranked contender.’ Brave. At least it is a fight in her home country. Getting the champion’s cut of the purse in a match like this is probably quite a nice payday for ‘The Diva.’

Chloe’s record of 18 knockouts would give me pause if I was Alesia. They don’t just hand you that number of stoppages on a platter. Chloe is dangerous. Probably not the most talented, but big and physical and powerful. A different sort of challenge than Alesia’s more recent fights.

Lovely poster. These two may be titans, but only one titan will get their hand raised at the end!

    • Alesia is taking on the kind of woman who is bound to test her. As we will find out soon, there will be a reward for this.

  4. Heh I knew this was the match to happen! That or a fight with Chelsea lol. Chloe finally is able to have her chance to face Alesia for the world title. This one has definitely been long overdue lol.

Hope her hand recovered and hope she’s been prepared, I’m looking forward to seeing the two go at it 🙂

    • Predictions only count when made in public 😆

This is indeed a fight I have been wanting to make for a long time. No more wait!

  5. Good! Chloe gets the chance she’s been waiting for. And I know that Alesia will make this a challenge that Chloe will never forget!

  6. Creator’s notes

This fight is way overdue, and it’s happening.

Alesia has wanted to defend her title against Chloé earlier this year, but an injury to the challenger got in the way. No more. The best two fighters in the Super Lightweight division will square off, and it should be quite a show.

It’s a big moment for both. The champion who couldn’t defend an amateur and profile title in the past. The challenger who finally gets her shot.
